The Darling Oyster Bar for Cocktails and Oysters...
The Gin Joint for a snack and Bartender's Choice cocktails! Oysters were dressed with a Jalapeno and Smoked Sea Salt Mignonette. Shishito peppers to get a vegetable in ;)
High Cotton for Bluegrass Brunch. Iced Irish Coffee to start the morning right followed by a platter of pastries including a delightful cinnamon roll, and a fried chicken sandwich made complete with some melted pimento cheese.
A stop at the farmer's market and City Market had me walking away with a coffee and bourbon infused cigar!
Of course we had to see some sights. Rainbow Row, original cobblestone streets, the pier, and Hat Man.
The Ordinary did not disappoint! Set in an old bank, we devoured a seafood platter that included some of the best ceviche I have had. We also had garlic crab claws, zucchini carpaccio that was amazingly savory, blue crab toast, and not shown some amazing Hawaiian rolls.
Our last meal was at Leon's. More oysters, a delicious kale salad, and smoked fish dip that was to die for. I was seriously impressed.
And a scoop of ice cream...
What's next year's trip!? Taking recommendations in the comments :)
