The Bits and Bobs:
2 fresh pears (recommend Bosc, Bartlett, D'Anjou as they retain shape best)
1-2 tbsp ground cinnamon
2-4 tbsp honey
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (or any other nut! pecans would also be great)
Preheat the oven to 375*F
Cut pears in half length-wise. Using a spoon, scoop out the seeds and a small pocket for the nuts to fills. Put the pears, cut side up, on a baking dish or in a cast iron (or other oven-safe) pan.
Sprinkle each pear half with some of the ground cinnamon, then fill each pear with the chopped nuts. Drizzle the honey all over the pears and nuts.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 mins or until slightly golden and soft. Serve as is or with a scoop of ice cream, frozen yogurt, or whipped cream.
